Which are the top 3 apps for accurate weather forecast?

There are hundreds of apps for just about anything these days. That does not mean that all of them are equally good. And then not to forget the army of ads and popups that you have to deal with on these apps. This is a significant problem especially on Android as compared to iOS. So which are the top 3 apps for accurate weather forecast?

AccuWeather

AccuWeather is without a doubt one of the most popular weather apps, that is known for its detailed and accurate forecasts. It provides hourly and 15-day forecasts, severe weather alerts, radar maps, and other valuable features. It also offers localized forecasts, allowing you to get weather information specific to your location. I personally have been using it for more than 10 years now and it has been accurate at least 98.99% of the time. Yes, it is that good.

The Weather Channel

The Weather Channel app is another reliable choice for accurate weather forecasts. It offers a wide range of features, including hourly and 10-day forecasts, radar maps, severe weather alerts, and detailed weather information. The app also provides real-time weather updates, allowing you to stay informed about changing conditions.

Dark Sky

Dark Sky is known for its hyper-local weather forecasts, which provide minute-by-minute predictions for your exact location. It offers detailed weather information, hourly forecasts, and radar maps. Dark Sky also provides notifications about impending rain or storms, making it useful for planning outdoor activities.

One or all of the above apps have a free version as well as a paid version. I would highly recommend AccuWeather though. The free version does have ads but the widget does not and it is more than enough. All the above apps are available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
